Sing-ALong storybooks
This series of board books brings the stop motion world of Little Woolly Vision into a physical, singalong format for preschoolers. Designed to accompany the popular YouTube animations, the books feature the brand’s signature needle felted visuals alongside the song lyrics. Each title includes a QR code that links directly to the video, bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds to allow children to follow their favourite rhymes in a tangible format.

The objective was to translate Little Woolly Visions three dimensional, felt animations into durable board books while maintaining the warmth and detail of the original style. The design needed to house lyrical text and musical cues within a layout that remained clear and inviting, ensuring the texture and humour of the art remained the focus of every page.

I designed the series from scratch, implementing a comic inspired layout to reflect the stop motion style of the brand animations. By using panels and sequential frames, I created a visual rhythm that mimicked the movement of the videos within a static format. I integrated QR codes providing a direct link to the YouTube animations to create a seamless multisensory experience between the book and the screen.

The project delivered a distinctive nursery rhyme collection that successfully bridges the gap between digital content and physical media. By using a sequential layout to mirror the animation style, I created a familiar and engaging experience for children already fond of the brand.
